Hey y'all!
My name is Alona Bre'Yan, a multidisciplinary artist originally from Orlando, Florida, now based in Atlanta, Georgia. While my creative perspective has been shaped by both cities, much of my work remains deeply inspired by my Florida roots. Today, my portfolio is heavily focused on sports photography, particularly professional wrestling. As the wife of a wrestling promotion owner and an active part of the promotion's leadership team, I play a role in the development and branding of professional wrestlers. Through my photography, I strive to capture the athleticism, emotion, and larger-than-life storytelling that make wrestling such a unique art form.
Why I do this
As a photographer and co-owner of a wrestling promotion, I have witnessed firsthand the lack of visibility afforded to wrestlers of color in Georgia's wrestling industry. Seeing this disparity inspired me to use my camera as a tool for advocacy, creating impactful images that elevate these athletes, strengthen their personal brands, and showcase them with the same level of professionalism and prestige often reserved for more widely promoted talent.
How I work
I bring an editorial style to professional wrestling, creating cinematic imagery that elevates athletes and their brands. Whether I'm capturing the intensity of a live event or producing a dedicated branding session, my goal is to tell compelling stories through powerful visuals that feel authentic, impactful, and larger than life.
Fun Facts about me
I grew up at Disney (no, really, I've been thousands of times). I am completely obsessed with Sailor Moon and Daria. One of my favorite meals for breakfast is rice, a fried egg, chili crisp and onions. Haitian food is my absolute favorite. I'm one of Spotify's top listeners, music plays a huge role in my life. I love to sing but will never pursue it as a career. My other hobbies include sewing, graphic design, dancing, and anything that allows me to just be creative. On my lazy days, I'm either playing Sims or Animal Crossing.
I Can't wait to meet you
